A bit of background….

Adrienne has spent over a decade in the legal sector gaining extensive knowledge and experience in the delivery of cultural change and business change programmes. Qualified to portfolio management level she has in depth knowledge of governance and delivery methods for all areas of programme and portfolio management.

Initially when joining the legal sector, Adrienne headed up a team of project and programme managers delivering IT projects and business change programmes into the legal teams. This involved initiatives such as the replacement of the firms document management system and all of the cultural changes that came along with it, definition and implementation of the firms business continuity plan, introduction of formal recognised project management principles, stakeholder management and governance for all projects and programmes, and the production of a firmware project and programme roadmap.

Following a move to a larger top 50-law firm, Adrienne was recruited into one of the legal teams and worked as a member of the firms leadership team. This has involved the delivery of case, matter and practice management systems, process re-design, centralization of business functions, the introduction of agile working, a pilot of legal project management and a large paper reduction initiative which achieved a 64% reduction in onsite paper.

Adrienne has spoken at conferences on the introduction and approach to development and implementation of new case management systems, as well as the approaches and benefits of agile working, paper reduction and efficient file management.

Starting out in local government and moving onto the Ministry of Defence, then into Telecoms, Adrienne’s programme management experience spans everything from the installation of fibre infrastructure on UK wide Army, Navy and Air Force sites, to ensuring the delivery and availability of 5×9’s (99.999) of business critical network capacity for the biggest Internet Service Providers.
